Religion: basics

At first, I still hadn't grasped the differences between the definitions of religion and Theology, I had assumed each meant the same thing. Yet, I did know that there is a stark difference between religions in different areas of the world. What was fascinating is that religion doesn't have a set time frame that it has to stick with, but rather it evolves with society. Also, I enjoyed the Ted talk that explored how sometimes we don't realize we are influences heavily by a “single story”. It makes one realize how society can influence you. My thinking is changing by analyzing how exactly society was influenced by religion and vis versa.
