When listening to the podcast, I was aware of the problems some religions were faced with their faith, such as the Jewish religion getting Chrismas off but not their own holidays. Yet, I didn't realize how much it could affect them, so much. For example, they may have to request a need of special accommodation which is something not many people like to request since it could cause some form of discrimination. Now, with new information, I began to realize how important the Satanic Temple was to change laws to help other religions who are not directly involved in Christianity. The group is causing change for something that many people are not aware of, that should in fact be more talked about. I think minor groups such as pagans or Satanism are religions that are completely left out. Although they believe in their own religion, that does not mean they should be forced to be labeled into a box of major religions so they can fit into society. They are left out through discrimination; if they are not involved in one of the major religions, they could be labeled as a fake religion, but that steams the question as to what is a real or fake religion. They are forced to be in a loophole by the government that claims to not side with the church, yet they continue to ignore other religions outside of Christianity.
