Gender

When speaking about gender it's obvious how much it affects us in our daily lives, such as who has been the U.S.A president since the creation of our nation, They have all been white Christian males. We also look more in-depth as to what roles gender has and how it has been ascribed and how we have set roles to masculinity and feminity. Or how in some cultures women and men can wear different things. One thing I had not realized was how in some cultures is that femininity could have been associated with men or women and men were not divided with femininity or masculinity but were just equal.

One thing i still am confused about is to why we decided to divide feminity and masculinity and how it managed to make a huge impact to our culture
