While first reading/watching the unit I had assumed that everyone had the same freedoms as anyone else, no one was left out just because of their freedom. Yet the further I go into the lesson the more I realized how wrong that first assumption was. Some things that I had no idea that Chick-fil-a Bill was a thing for discriminating of LGBTQ+, I have only heard of such discrimination was from a baker who refused not to create a wedding cake for a same-sex couple, but from a major corporation and getting away with it.

Now I am a huge fan of the Satanic Temple, not the one that most people assume of this group for devil worshippers but the real Satanic Temple that fights for religious equality. This group really challenges the local, state, and federal government of how the government is not supposed to have religion tied into government. This group really highlights this issue and fights back. One of my favorite things this group had done was to place a statue of Baphomet with a Christian statue, causing that particular state to retract their original plans.
